The President must be a leader who can work with the board, staff and volunteers to take this institution to a higher level of excellence and service. S/he must have experience as a CEO and be well acquainted with the performing arts industry and its key players, be adept at programming, at ease with numbers and finances, and a dynamo fund-raiser.
The President will be required to interact with a variety of constituencies and must have a compelling personality and integrity which allows her/him to inter-mingle effortlessly and seamlessly. S/he must be well spoken and have extraordinary writing and communication skills that enable her/him to rigorously defend a position as well as sell a new idea and direction.
